Steak with spicy tomato salad and toast

Ingredients (per serving)
130 g Irish Beef Steak
0.2 tbs Liquid margarine
1 slice Whole wheat bread with more seeds
0.3 tbs Honey
2 tsp Dried Italian herbs
20 pcs Cherry tomato
0.5 tbs Buttermilk
1.7 tsp Fresh sage
2.5 tbs Fresh parsley
2.5 twigs Fresh mint
80 g Pomegranate seeds
0.2 pcs Red onion
2 tsp Ground allspice
Preparation steps
- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Remove the mint and sage leaves from the twigs. Chop the fresh mint, sage and parsley finely. Grate a lemon. Mix the fresh herbs with the allspice and lemon zest into the cherry tomatoes.
- Peel and chop the red onion and stir into the tomato mixture with the pomegranate seeds.
- Pat the steak dry with a paper towel. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry on both sides for 2 minutes on high heat. Let it rest for a while.
- Toast the bread until crisp in a toaster or in a dry frying pan for 2 minutes per side over medium heat.
- Mix the Italian herbs with honey and spread the toast.
- Serve the steak on a plate with the spicy tomato salad and toast on the side.
