Spaghetti with red sauce and veggie balls

Ingredients (per serving)

0.5 pcs     Onions
1 pcs         Clove of garlic
1 tbs         Olive oil
200 g         Diced tomatoes
75 g         Whole wheat spaghetti
100 g         Vegetable balls
0.5 pcs     Red bell pepper

Preparation steps

  1. Prepare the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Halve the bell pepper, remove the seeds and cut the bell pepper into 2 cm cubes.
  3. In a frying pan, heat the oil over a low heat. Fry the onion with garlic and bell pepper while stirring with a wooden spoon. Add the balls and diced tomatoes.
  4. Bring the tomato sauce to the boil. Then turn down the heat again and cook the sauce gently until a thick pasta sauce is formed.
  5. Spread the spaghetti on a deep plate and garnish with tomato sauce.
