Pita tosti with tuna and mozzarella

Ingredients (per serving)

1 pcs       Pita Bread
45 g     Tuna pieces in water
15 g     Mozzarella
3 tbs     Ketchup
0.5 tsp     Dried Italian herbs

Preparation steps

  1. Preheat the oven to the highest grill setting or use a sandwich maker. Drain the tuna.
  2. Cut the pita breads half open.
  3. Mix ketchup with herbs. Spread half of the ketchup mixture on the inside of the bread.
  4. Fill the bread with tuna and mozzarella.
  5. Grill the bread in the sandwich maker or in the oven for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve on a plate with the remaining ketchup.
