How to build your go-to breakfast

The best breakfast is one you can repeat without thinking. A good one has a carb base for fuel, a bit of protein to round it out, and it is quick enough that you actually make it every morning.

Build it in four

  1. Start from a breakfast you like that has a carb base: oats, toast, fruit, or cereal.
  2. Tweak the amount to your target, a bit more before a hard morning. The app shows it.
  3. Make it a balanced breakfast, not just a banana or a drink. Add some protein like milk, yoghurt or eggs, and fruit when you can.
  4. Keep one or two options so it sticks.
